Album info
This is the fourth album by the Iguanacondas released on October 16th, 2025. All songs were written, recorded and produced by Chad Vickers. All instruments were played by Chad Vickers and the album was recorded in a leaky basement studio in Durham, North Carolina, U.S.A.
This album strays away from the beachy "surf" sounds of the previous Iguanacondas albums. Instead it launches out straight into space and gets lost in the darkness for awhile. The person i was closest with on this planet died and left me here and i had a bit of an existential crisis. I spent many nights looking at the night sky and questioning the meaning of life and the size of the universe. This album is really just about life itself. How life began, sex and reproduction, birth and death. It explores feelings of deep space detachment.
I dedicate this album to my biggest fan since day one, Jimmy Vickers.
