There is a Temple called ''Ambika Mandira'' was discoverd by Rajkumar Prafulla Bhanaja Deo, a king during British Raj who stayed at Devkund and Reseached about this place.
Devkund is a combination of two odia words ''Deba''(deity) and ''Kunda'' (a small pond or tub).
Devkund is located at a distance of 60km from Baripada 85km from Balasore 225 km from Bhubaneswar & 315 km from Kolkata.
