Building out a good community tank is hard. You have to know which fish school as well as which fish get territorial. It's WAY harder for salt water tanks to get right but I thought this was a fun one to share.
The advantage that freshwater tanks have with some of the aggressive cichlid types is you can load up on them. For whatever reason they tend to bully less when there are more.
While I'm at it. THREE is the WORST number to have if you get a type of fish that wants to pair off and breed. They will pulverize the odd fish left standing.
