Android it’s very easy to set the time using the android.widget.TimePicker component. In this tutorial we are going to see how the user can select the hour, and the minute using the android.app.TimePickerDialog which is an easy to use dialog box.Let’s see how to code time picker in android. It is exactly the same as date picker. But anyway I will be explaining here. It’s very simple to program this time picker dialog box functionality. Let’s assume you are developing an alarm app that deals with user input. You can take input from user with the TimePicker. It’s interactive and user friendly. To use TimePicker you only need to add TimePicker view in XML and in JAVA code you need to handle the further actions. This tutorial shows how to use TimePicker in your application.
