911cooled heads to Luft 5 2018 with the rest of the aircooled family

Описание: Luft 5 is the biggest aircooled event of the year! Right?! Well I think it is... and the best part is that its located right in my own backyard. Sunny Southern California is filled car meets and shows year round.

I actually never knew how lucky and spoiled we were until I went to go visit some friends in NYC back in the fall. The folks out there start putting their cars away in late Sept. A driving season really exists! News to me!

After the sweet little caravan to Torrance, we slowly started to trickle into Ganahl Lumber. I was taken back by the sheer size of the lumberyard and also the vintage Ganahl sign in the front really took me back to those old school photos you seen in books.

The venue was filled with tons of unique aircooled vehicles along with driver cars. Cars that showed a lot of character and tons of stories to tell with all of the adventures they have been on. Those are the stories I wish to concentrate on in the future. I want to hear those stories!

Although Luft 5 was more grand than Luft 4, my biggest gripe with it was that I was overwhelmed by the number of cars there. I don't think I was the only one, as many were burnt out by 11am. If the show was smaller by 30%, it would have been perfectly curated.

I do want to apologize in advance that I did not take too many photos as I was trying to take in day like a normal visitor and much of my video work was sloppy. I think because I was so overwhelmed, I just couldnt concentrate as everything was pulling my attention.
