In Anif foster mothers customize a rather unusual bird to the wild life: the Northern bald ibis. With her aircraft Daniela Trobe shows
the animals who were born in zoos how to find their way to their wintering grounds in Tuscany.

In Ramsau drying panels of cloth dominate the picture. Loden has been manufactured here for
over 500 years. Not far off, in the district of Pongau, an elderly couples breeds marmots. From
here on the helicopter flies southwards, towards the peaks of High Tauern National park and
Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. A trail rider climbs the Tauern on historic paths on
which farmers transported their goods over the Alps to Italy in mediaeval times. In the Leogang
stone mountains a Viennese theater group rehearses an open-air play. At Lake Koenigssee the
farmers have their own custom of driving their cattle to the their pastures: by boat.
