Pocket watches were a pretty big part of the Victorian Era. And jewelry was just as popular. Here’s where the chain fob comes in. A piece of jewelry that hangs off your pocket watch chain. A combination of both worlds.
Today I will show you the basics on how to make your own chain fob for your pocket watch. I used a 1904 V nickel that has been ruined so it got repurposed as a fob and then a left over chain that I had from a previous project. A few tweaks and modifications later, I have a beautiful, decorticated pocket watch for the cost of some elbow grease.
