🍸In this video we make an Adonis Cocktail. The cocktail was inspired by a burlesque musical of the same name, Adonis. The play opened in New York in 1884 and the cocktail was created sometime shortly after. In the show, the statue of Adonis comes to life and becomes so disgusted by human beings that he turns himself back into stone. The musical was a hit and was the first show to run over 500 performances in New York.
