Room temperature pumpkins are easiest to clean. To start, cut a large circle at the bottom of your pumpkin. Use a knife to carefully remove the circle, and then to level out the circle you just cut so a candle can be placed easily on top. To get the pumpkin guts out, use a large ice cream scooper.

To finish, use a clay modeling tool to smooth your pumpkin's inside walls, and then use a spoon to scoop away the remains. Now your pumpkin is ready for you to get creative and craft a spooky Halloween decoration!
