Permanent water saving rules are a set of common sense rules in place across Victoria all year round.
The four rules are:
💧 You can water using a hose with a trigger nozzle at any time
💧 Use sprinklers or watering systems after 6 pm or before 10 am on any day (or overnight)
💧 Fountains and water features must recirculate water (almost all of them do)
💧 Use a broom rather than washing down hard surfaces like driveways, paths, decking or concrete
