At least one person has died and 12 have been injured in a Russian air strike on a residential building in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.
Russian and Ukrainian representatives have resumed talks in a bid to end weeks of fighting.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian president's office hinted at progress, saying Ukraine was pushing for an immediate ceasefire.
But Russia continued its bombardment of many Ukrainian cities.
