Tunicates are the closest relatives to vertebrates, but they are highly unique with a wide variety of different forms. Despite often being overlooked, tunicates are extremely important for cleaning the oceans and distributing nutrients throughout the water column. Take a look, as I dive into learning more about these highly unusual marine invertebrates.
