In this video, I explore the historical heritage of Tehsil Dina, District Jhelum, focusing on the forgotten sites located along the Old GT Road.
My journey starts with a visit to Sarai Rajopindi, an ancient roadside inn that once served travelers and traders on the historic GT Road.
Next, I visit a historic garden in Qazi Hussainian Village, which was once used to supply food to Rohtas Fort, highlighting the strategic importance of this area.
After that, I explore a historic Baoli (stepwell) in Natain Village, an excellent example of traditional water management from the past.
At the end of the tour, I visit the neglected Hastedpur Railway Station, a silent witness to a time when railway travel played a major role in regional connectivity.
