PICHAVARAM MANGROVE FOREST

2nd largest mangrove forest in the world, first being located in Sundarbans, Bengal.
This place is almost 60km from Pondicherry, 243km from Chennai and 15km from Chidambaram.
Visit between 9am to 4pm.
Best visited in the mornings 9am to 11 am.
Entry fee : Rs 20/bike
Ticket fee : Rs 400/ row boat and Rs 600/ motor boat
Forest entrance fee : Rs 20pp
Camera fee : extra
Drone not allowed
