Plated became popular after the founders pitched their idea on Shark Tank for investments. Although there were no investors, it didn’t take long for the public to start to take notice of this meal kit delivery service.

Like some of the other big meal kits, when you sign up for Plated, you’ll take a quiz to match meals to your taste. Their quiz seems to be a little more interactive and “on the nose” in terms of matching people with the right meals.

One thing we really loved about Plated was its variety. The meals we receive are unique and fun. In the video, you’ll notice some of the ingredients don’t seem like they would go together but it ended up making the meal taste really delicious!

One thing to note about Plated is that they offer meal delivery for one person. Almost all of the other meal delivery kits that we’ve reviewed are for couples or more. So if you live by yourself and you’re looking to get into a meal delivery kit or you’re looking to cook for yourself, Plated could be a great option.

Overall, Plated is a great “general” meal delivery option. As you can see in the video, we really enjoyed the meal. They offer cookers a lot of options and their pricing is pretty on par with the other big general meal kits out there.
