Its dark. Cant tell if its night. Been dark for so long. Day and night seem to blend. Sleep and waking. Everything charred. Everything smoking and covered in ash. Ash in my eyes. Hard to keep them open. So dry, my eyes. Only thing that helps is to cry. So Ive been crying. Crying and crying out for her, for anyone. Can anyone hear me? Is anyone out here with me?

Im sorry. Im so so so sorry. Can you hear me? I said Im sorry. WERE sorry. Were all sorry. We didnt mean it to end up like this. We didnt know. Wed take it back if we could.

Its so dark. Feeling around like a blind man. Only light is from dying embers. They seem like bright flares compared to this darkness. And they are warm. Seems selfish to feel cold but I do. Cold. Blind. Ash dry. Cant cry anymore. Tears all dried up. Still crying inside and no one in sight. No one to hear my voice.
