An event presenting a fascinating research by Prof. Marijana Grbeša, Faculty of Political Sciences, powered by tech from Faculty of Engineering and Computing in Zagreb and supported by our Embassy, revealed formats, styles and scopes of anti-Ukraine narratives that make their way into the Croatian public discourse and media.
Lessons from Ukraine should help us all to become more resilient and support professional journalists in avoiding manipulation and counter disinformation. Prof. Grbeša and Prof Šnajder presented the research today to Croatian ministry officials, reporters and students of journalism and Prof Darren Lilleker from the Bournemouth University, UK, provided an insight into how the UK media track and resist manipulative narratives.
