Are you thinking of pursuing a career as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)?
Dr. Alyson Abel of SDSU’s School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences discusses the admissions process at SDSU, how students with Linguistics backgrounds can prepare for SLP programs, addresses questions. Dr. Abel serves as the graduate admissions coordinator for SDSU’s SLP Master’s program.
Also in attendance: Dr. Marc Garellek, a UC San Diego linguistics faculty and the advisor for SLP in Linguistics, Maxine Van Doren, CCC-SLP and a graduate students in Linguistics, as well as recent alums enrolled in SLP programs.
