Kapil Sharma Targeted in ₹1 Crore Extortion Case: Accused Arrested in West Bengal | News9

Описание: Popular comedian Kapil Sharma faced a shocking extortion attempt between September 22-23, receiving threatening calls and videos demanding ₹1 crore. The caller allegedly invoked notorious gangsters Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar to intimidate him. Acting swiftly, the Mumbai Crime Branch traced the accused, Dilip Chaudhary, to West Bengal, and he has now been arrested. Police are investigating a potential wider network behind the threat. Kapil Sharma is safe, but the incident underscores how underworld figures continue to target celebrities.
