Oil industry sources estimate diesel could increase by over ₱15 per liter, while gasoline may rise by more than ₱7 per liter because of tensions in the Middle East.
The Department of Energy says the adjustments are not yet final, but a significant increase is expected and will not be implemented in one installment.
