In 2018 Tieto Latvia started to build two new products according to 3D Secure version 2 specifications. The challenge was not only the new and evolving specifications but also the Java technology stack we chose instead of C++ we are used to.
So here were are a year later with 3D Secure Server and Access Control Server certified both by EMVCo and major Card Organizations. I will reflect on how we got here and what road bumps we hit on the way.
