Описание: Today on Bro. B's Bible Blog I review a Thomas Nelson NKJV Compact Center-Column Reference Bible that is wrapped in Gray Leathersoft. This is an especially fine little bible. The Gray Leathersoft feels a little more stiff than normal but that may be a good thing if one uses this compact bible for a daily carry bible. It is perimeter stitched with gold building and two ribbons. It really does fit my hands well. It is a very comfortable carry.

It is a paste-down lining with tape reinforcement. I don't know the gsm (thickness) of the paper but it is at least 28 gsm, maybe just a little thicker. The format of the text block is my preferred: two column, verse by verse center column reference, with 43,000 cross references, which is just a little more than half of the full set of references and textual notes.

The has a "Read the Bible in a Year" section and a more than adequate concordance. It also has a few blank pages for notes and 8 maps.

All in all this is a bible that I highly recommend and at some point will probably get the Genuine Leather version for myself.
