This video shows a manual pit stop in race with manual mod variant being in front of your teammate.
As in manual mod variant the game needs to realign the position of the car, the car flips 180° and gets back positioned.
When you enter just in front of your teammate, he will stop before you, as there is no collision during pit stops and your second to realign makes him gain your spot.
