5 landscaping basics
1. Soil- add new soil to your landscape
2. Right plant, right place- read the labels and know where that plant will belongs. Full sun or full shade. Some plants are part sun.
3. Ground cover- add mulch, pine bark, or pine needles as the top layer to your landscape. This retains moisture, cuts down on weeds, and makes the landscaping look finished.
4. Water- right after you install the new plants and put ground cover, water everything in. Water for the first 30 days.
5. Trim & Feed- maintenance is 90 percent of landscaping and I highly recommend trimming and feeding 2x a year at minimum. You need to shape the plants in Spring and Fall.
