Welcome to the fitrush i know its been a long time since i have posted, i was recovering and taking some timeout for myself.
Now i am back and i am back feeling better than ever.

This travel vlog is taken at Mysore the palace city in Karnataka, India.
Mysore is a very beautiful city and also it is a well planned city.
I was there at Mysore for about 2 days and I had never before climbed all the way up to Chamundi Hills hence the question on the video "Have you tried climbing 1000 steps at Chamundi hills Mysore".

On our second day at Mysore we decide to visit Chamundi temple to pay our respect and seek blessing from Goddess Chamundi, the presiding deity at Chamundi hills.

We also wanted to do some sort of trekking activity at Mysore, what better place than Chamundi Hills.

We arrived there about 7am thinking that we might be the only few who are climbing the hill that morning but i was seriously mistaken, there were hundreds of people climbing Chamundi hills that day.

Key tip: please come early and search for parking.

Moving on, we started the climb, initially it was fun as we were not getting tired, about half way when we reached the Monolithic Nandi, thats when things started to get difficult.
The steps are not like your ordinary steps at home, these are solid rock steps with some good height to them.
This was some real good working for us, it was mix combination of lunges and a stepup movement working out or legs.
There are several Juice points and fruit sellers on the way, so you can stop catch your breath and grab something to eat and keep moving.

Another note : watch out for the monkeys!!!
Finally after taking a quick break at the Nandi we reached the temple.
After the quick darshan we started making our way back down Chamundi hills, our faith restored and energy replenished.
Mysore is a wonderful place to visit and so is Chamundi Hills.

For those who want to enter the main shrine, the temple offers tickets at Rs30/- and Rs100/-
I recommend taking the Rs100/- as you can skip a lot of queue and finish your darshan within 15-20 mins max, dont forget to collect your Laddoo that you get along with your Rs 100/- ticket.
There are plenty of vendors at the top of the temple collecting money for offerings.
NOTE : walking is not the only way to go up the hill, car and bus are also another option.
