The Greenstone Ridge Trail, Isle Royale - Day 1

Описание: My solo backpacking trip along the Greenstone Ridge Trail on Isle Royale.

The trip began with a ferry ride on the Voyageur II out of Grand Portage, Minnesota. The ferry arrives at Windigo on the west end of Isle Royale. The ferry then travels around the north shore of the island and finishes at Rock Harbor on the south east end of the Island. From Grand Portage it takes nearly the whole day to travel to Rock Harbor. The next day I took a water taxi to Hidden Lake.

Day one of hiking begins at Hidden Lake and ends at Daisy Farm campground.
