A massive ₹1,500 crore land scam has surfaced in the rural areas of Surendranagar, implicating Collector Rajendra Patel, a deputy mamlatdar, a clerk, and two others. The alleged fraud was carried out in the name of land acquisition. Following the revelation, Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams conducted raids and seized around 100 files from the collector’s residence.
