"ie" - Sie (she), Wie (We), Nie (never), Mieten (rent)
"ch" - Ich (i), Mich (me), Dich (you), Herzlich (from the heart)
"sch" - Schule (school), Schuhe (shoes), Anschauen (to watch)
"aa" - Paar (pair), Haar (hair), Haare (hairs)
"ee" - Leer (empty), Allee (alley)
