“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:8 (ESV)

“But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. So through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger, because we have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death.” Romans 5:8-9 (NCV)
Terms Learned in This Episode:
Marsupial: A group of mammals that have very tiny babies which are born early and then crawl into a pouch on the mother’s belly to keep growing. Inside the pouch, the baby drinks milk and stays warm and safe.
Nocturnal: Creatures that are mostly active at night.
Tapetum Lucidum: Reflective layer in some eyes that reflects light.
Marsupium: A pouch on a mother marsupial’s belly where her tiny baby or babies stay safe and warm after being born. Inside the pouch are nipples so the babies can drink milk and keep growing.
Thanatosis: A safety reaction some animals use when they are in danger. Their bodies go limp and still, sometimes with eyes open, so a predator thinks they’re dead and loses interest.
