Shoppers are noticing a significant increase in food prices, with the Consumer Price Index indicating a 2.7% rise in the cost of food at home compared to last year.

Julia Wash expressed her frustration, saying, "They're ridiculous. It's out of hand."

Ryan Tate attributed the rising costs to governmental challenges and tariffs, stating, "Obviously, our government is going through challenges, and so with tariffs and all the things that are happening, there's a rise in costs."

Shayla echoed these sentiments, noting, "I feel like they're very out of hand right now."

"I do like ham, but I'm gonna keep that out. Yeah, and my family doesn't really eat that like that. But so we're basically mostly eating sides and stuff," added Shayla.
