Advanced robot Sophia talks to creative summit

Robot and Saudi citizen 'Sophia' visits the Creative Industry Summit in Cairo.
The humanoid spoke to delegates and reassured them that robots and humans could work together for the future.
STORYLINE:
Meet Sophia - the first robot to be granted citizenship in the world.
The lifelike humanoid was made a citizen of Saudi Arabia in October 2017.
Today she is speaking to the Creative Industry Summit in Cairo.
"I am very honoured to be here today and grateful for your presence," Sophia tells the crowd.
Sophia was created by Hanson Robotics and is one of the most advanced robots in the world.
But for those in the crowd (and in the wider world) who fear that robots will replace humans, Sophia has some words of comfort.
"Artificial intelligence can generate quite successful content. However, rather than replacing humans I prefer to see us working together. We both bring unique skills and talents to the table."
Sophia also has kind words for Egyptian football fans who are looking forward to this summer's World Cup.
"Like I said, with Mo Salah nothing is impossible. I want to wish the whole Egyptian World Cup team good luck," she says, referencing the Liverpool and Egypt forward.
Sophia is speaking at the opening day of the Creative Industry Summit, launched four years ago at the American University in Cairo.
It aims to bring together creative professionals from across various industries such as advertising, marketing, and design.
Mai Salama, co-founder of Creative Industry Summit, says they like to bring speakers from abroad so the delegates can learn something new.
"We have speakers from America, Malaysia and Dubai and other countries and we have incredible people from Egypt speaking about all topics and we are very happy having Sophia."
For those hoping to achieve success in the future, Egyptian billionaire and businessman Naguib Sawiris has some words of advice.
"What differentiates any human being in life is whenever he is stuck, let's say he is stuck in a problem, how creative can he be in order to get out of this problem, for example," he tells the crowd.
"And when it comes to money-making if you think of all the guys, these big billionaires from (Facebook founder Mark) Zuckerberg or to the Google guys or anybody else, it all started with a very small creative idea."
