And the fierce battle intensified in the field

And the Romans came like black mountains
In a massive legion and a crowded army

You hear the sound of thunder from the swords
And the horses gallop in the race of glory

And Khalid in its arena is the fierce lion
The sword of God, the bold and dauntless knight

A sword from God drawn against the disbelievers
Unsheathed by the Chosen One like a hurricane

The best of creation named him the Sword of God
He marches victorious under God's protection

He tears through the Roman ranks without fear
As if he were a torment descending upon the polytheists

He strikes like a lion against the foes
And raises the banner high into the sky

He never knew defeat throughout his age
His brow is forever crowned with victory

Never was he repelled in the heat of battle
Nor did he ever yield in the arena of combat

He crushed the ranks, and all the multitudes bear witness
That he is the unsheathed sword of guidance

So the Romans fled the battlefield
And tyranny was shattered by faith

And the Levant was returned to Monotheism
By the sharp blade in the hand of Ibn al-Walid
