Background:
This was quite an epic battle, and it was quite close. Also there was NO lag! I am pretty sure only major pet classes are causing lag these days.
Rules are like usual, best out of 5, stay within the center of the battleground, no ressing during an active round. Heroism is also going to be present in every third round (we are not waiting for the exhausted debuff to drop off between fights).
Well let us discuss the rounds...
Round 1:
The start of the battle had both teams going all out. It was really even at the beginning but when Fury Warriors bladestorm dropped off they had issues keeping up pressure. Heroism, counterstrike totem and other abilities helped them claim the first round.
Round 2:
Warriors strategized more, and went for the backline to disrupt, aswell as spreading out more. This helped them a lot. After a close call, they managed to claim the second round!
Round 3:
This is the weirdest thing... I did not expect Shaman all of a sudden to claim such a massive Victory. Warriors only managed 2 kills. Shamans played this round very perfectly, and Warriors played quite badly.
Shamans rooted the warrior backline with Earthgrab totem, aswell as used Static Field Totem to keep the Warrior frontline stuck, then they had plenty of time to unleash devastation upon the Warriors.
Warriors also screwed up by stacking too much, aswell as some using "Dragon Charge" to knock the shaman away... which isn't really optimal if you wanna get close to your enemy.
Round 4:
The earlier devastating loses had impacted the Warriors morale and two Warriors left aswell as one going afk. We realised quickly that we had to do something drastic if we wanted to secure a victory, so we attacked without warning and managed to snatch some early kills from overextended Shamans.
It was an intense battle, but the Fury Warrior team were too exhausted from earlier rounds and got too rooted, kited and destroyed. The Enhancement Shamans ultimately won this battle!
Some of you might think Heroism is the reason Shamans won and it should be banned, it actually isnt the reason. We only had heroism present in two out of 6 clashes (more than I said we would, but people remained since it was such a fun event). And Warriors sadly... only won one. All the others went to Shaman so we clearly see Enhancement is superior to Fury.
I hope you all enjoyed the battle! And hope to see you in the next setup, which is probably going to be Marksman Hunter VS Devastation Evoker.
