Welcome to the sacred Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple, one of the most ancient and spiritually powerful Shiva temples in Dwarka, located right beside the roaring waves of the Arabian Sea.

According to legend, this Swayambhu Shiva Linga (self-manifested) emerged from the earth, blessed by Lord Shiva Himself. It is believed that when Lord Krishna established Dwarka, he also installed and worshipped this Shiva Linga to protect the city from negative forces and to maintain divine balance.

The name “Bhadkeshwar” is said to come from the powerful vibrations and the natural emergence of the Linga, symbolizing Shiva’s eternal presence. Over centuries, the sea has risen and submerged the temple many times, yet the Linga always reappears — a miracle that devotees believe shows Mahadev’s divine will.

🌊 During high tide, the temple is surrounded by ocean water, creating a breathtaking scene where Shiva and the sea meet, reminding us of Shiva’s role as the Lord of cosmic forces.
