Hello, in this episode here on the Taheton County series I will be working hard on the farm spreading lime and tilling the fields. Doing what it takes so that next year's crop is the best it can be! A lot is being done on the Taheton County series this week! I took out a $300K loan from the bank and purchased a large pigsty close to the farm. We are now farming 300 hogs. I also had two 3,200 bushel hoper bins put up right behind the pigsty for their food consisting of corn (protein) and wheat (grain nutrients). A 3,000 gallon liquid manure tank was also acquired for hauling poop out of the pigsty. I also bought another plot of land with two fields on it not too far from the main farmstead. I used almost every last bit of that $300K so hopefully odds are in our favor and it will start rollin' in the big bucks.
