Joel and Ellie finally reach the University of Eastern Colorado, hoping to find the Fireflies. The campus is quiet, filled with abandoned buildings and roaming infected. As they explore the grounds, they must work together to find a way into the Science Building, pushing through obstacles, locked gates, and dangers around every corner. Their search leads them deeper into the heart of the university as they get closer to the truth.

It becomes clear that the Fireflies have already left, leaving behind only notes, clues, and signs of a rushed evacuation.
