Welcome to this therapeutic yin for females to support hormonal health.
Ladies ... a REGULAR (consistent weekly) practice of #yinyoga during hormonal 'transitional' years can ease symptoms! If you eat a clean diet, especially along Ayurvedic doshic food guidelines, and maintain a regular weekly yoga practice, adding yin yoga 1-2x per week during your transitional years can often negate symptoms.
In this class, each pose is held in stillness and silence slightly short of 4 minutes for a deeper therapeutic body~mind benefit compared with the standard yin pose hold of 2 to 3 minutes. A longer therapeutic pose hold creates a broader extensive rooting of:
nourishment and hydration to connective tissues, fascia and joints
soothing and grounding the nervous system
mind calmness and clarity
mind~body harmony for vitality and well-being
This therapeutic kidney-meridian and water-element yin yoga class encourages creating essence (#lifeforce, fluidity) by rebalancing body+mind, alleviating transitional symptoms of:
joint pain
muscle stiffness
brain fog
hot flashes
agitated nervous system
bone density loss
poor sleep
low energy (Chi i.e. Qi or Ojai)
