Transcript:
Hello and welcome.
If you are here, you may be looking for support around feelings of grief. No matter how you came to this meditation, this space is here for you to simply be with your emotions. And to discover ways to navigate them during this time.
There is no right or wrong way to feel. There is just meeting yourself where you are in this moment,
beginning here by finding a. Natural and relaxed posture in a quiet, safe space. Feeling free to sit upright or lay down your comfort is what's most important.
And once you're settled, Allow your eyes to close and your body to relax.
Bringing your awareness to your breath, feeling the gentle rise of your inhale and the gentle fall. Exhale,
allowing each of these breaths to relax and support you, each one effortlessly expanding and opening your awareness.
Simply allowing your awareness to just be with your breath, feeling air flowing in and out of your body. Supporting and nourishing you in each passing moment.
When experiencing pregnancy loss, feelings of grief can seem both overwhelming and challenging to navigate. Knowing here that no matter when in your pregnancy you experienced a loss or how your loss occurred, the feelings you are experiencing are valid. A loss, whether experienced early in pregnancy or later, is a loss.
However grief is surfacing for you is okay. There is nothing wrong with you for feeling the way that you do.
Knowing this, allow your imagination to. Travel to a space where you feel safe and at peace. Perhaps this is on a beach, in an open field, or anywhere else where you feel relaxed and at ease
Now. Imagining that within this safe space, someone who you trust and love came to sit beside you, allowing this person to be with you, holding space for you within this moment.
Visualizing now that you could tell this person everything you feel inside, all the things you wish you could say to others about your grief, and simply allow this person to listen. Be with you knowing that in this space you are safe to express anything and everything you need. There is no one to be here than you
imagining Now that. This person could say the one thing that you most need to hear, allowing these words to just arise and come naturally. Hearing it spoken to you from this person who loves you and supports you unconditionally. And simply allowing yourself permission to take in this message,
being in this visualization for a few more moments. And when you're ready, returning to your breath. Perhaps noticing any emotional or physical changes within you as you continue to focus on your breath awakening into this moment with each passing inhale and exhale.
Slowly bringing your awareness back into this space, back into your body, and back into the natural rhythm of your breath,
taking all the time you need to come out of this meditation. Feeling free to sit for however long you would like being with yourself and your inner experience as you move forward into the rest of your day or night.
