It’s about carrying the weight of betrayal and transformation, and when the person you once were is gone, replaced by something unrecognizable.
It’s about being reshaped into something you never asked to be, carrying the pieces of who you were, knowing some of them won’t ever fit back together.

Gothic rock / emo rock — soft and fragile in the verses, then hitting hard in the chorus.
