Bonners Ferry is Idaho's gateway community near the Canadian border.
An award-winning Visitor Center welcomes you to the always friendly Bonners Ferry, and the Boundary County Museum is a great place to learn something about the area's colorful past.
Just a few minutes from downtown Bonners Ferry, you'll find a spectacular place called the Kootenia National Wildlife Refuge. It's a 2700 hundred acre habitat for a variety of wildlife including bald eagles, elk, deer, moose and migratory waterfowl.
