Jhin... perhaps Riot Games' most successful and smartest champion designed up to date.
Essence Reaver & Stormrazor, along with Infinity Edge are some of the better items to boost Jhin's overall damage, but Sneaky decided to go more defensive (or maybe he was testing zeal item buffs) with PD.
Disclaimer: I could not confirm Jhin's fixed attack speed against abilities/spells, but I will assume the LoL wiki is correct on this matter. (Edit: Tested vs. Malphite Bot: his slam does REDUCE Jhin's AD via his bonus attack speed AD% passive - however, it does NOTHING if Jhin has no attack speed item)
Exhaust's attack speed debuff was removed some time during Season 7
