The train ride at Land of Make Believe in Hope New Jersey.
This is a replica of the iconic old west style locomotive, and the style that modeled countless cartoon tales and storyboards including "The Little Engine that Could".
During the time of the Civil War, a special locomotive was built by the Danforth-Cook Locomotive & Machine Works in Paterson NJ. It was named in honor of Collin P Huntington, the third President of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. The CP Huntington was completed in 1863, and in 1864 put to work on the western portion of the Trans Continental Railroad.
The model is an homage to the legacy New Jersey has with the iconic locomotive.
The train ride in circles the entire theme park and affords splendid views of all the rides and water park.
