I originally was going to entitle this something like, "Token of Glory Faded" because it reminded me of something ethnic and ancient (due to the solo voices), but after experiencing almost two weeks of storms and tornado weather where I live, I decided to rename it with its current title. It's also a reference to the wartime adventures of Darrow in the novel, "Dark Age" from Pierce Brown's Red Rising series.
I also enjoyed making the art for this music in adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects (again, based on a battle from the novel I mentioned above).
