The US military has admitted civilians, including children, were probably killed in Yemen, in the first operation authorised by President Donald Trump.
The Pentagon previously said only 14 fighters were killed in the raid against al-Qaeda on Sunday.
Questions are also being asked about the level of planning and preparation that went into the raid.
