The footage, released by Iran’s Mehr news agency and geolocated by investigative group Bellingcat, adds to evidence suggesting the United States was responsible for a strike that also devastated the nearby Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school, killing more than 168 people, many of them girls aged seven to 12. Satellite imagery and videos verified by journalists show multiple buildings hit, including the school and structures inside the IRGC compound. Munitions experts say the weapon seen in the footage appears to be a Tomahawk missile, which only the United States is known to use in the current conflict. The findings contradict comments by US President Donald Trump blaming Iran for the attack. The US military says it is investigating the incident.
