Leaving your baby or child with someone else is scary. Whether it’s a nanny, babysitter, daycare or family member this video provides some helpful strategies for finding a caretaker and beginning the process of leaving your child with someone other than a parent. I have had a nanny, babysitter & used a daycare and had positive experiences with all of them. One thing that helped was understanding how to transition the child to the new person… do I sneak away? Do i stay present for a while and say a real goodbye even if my kids cry when i leave? I talk about that too.
