There is a big update regarding the movement of trains on the Pathankot-Baijnath Paprola railway track. After the inspection of Commissioner of Railway Safety, New Delhi, Dinesh Chand Deswal, the exercise of running trains has now gained momentum. According to information received from sources, train movement will start from Pathankot on March 9, 2026. Three pairs of trains will operate in the first phase. One train from Pathankot will leave for Baijnath Paprola at 5 am, 7 am and 2:40 pm. At the same time, trains will leave from Baijnath for Pathankot at 6 am, 2:15 pm and 3:40 pm. Running of trains before Chaitra Navratri will provide great relief to the devotees coming to visit Kangra Temple, Mata Jwalamukhi Ji, Maa Chamunda etc.
