"Torna a Surriento" is one of the most famous classic neapolitan songs, composed in 1894 by Ernesto De Curtis and worded by his brother Giambattista de Curtis, since then it has also been adapted by many british and american singers such as Elvis Presley with "Surrender".
The song is not sung in italian but in Neapolitan, a language spoken in southern Italy which does not have an official writing sistem, the one used in this video is the one that i think best represents the sounds of the language.
