I’ve recently added these strenuous lowball problems to my Stoney Point bouldering circuit. They don’t see much traffic these days, but they’re a good way to dial in those delicate mantels and body tension. I’ve used a few different camera angles to try showing just how thin some of these holds are.
On the Kamps Mantel, you can replace the chalk bag with scratching your butt or throwing a middle finger to the crowd, but some kind of static taunt is required. This is the climb I broke my finger on last year, so don’t underestimate it.
