A-ha - Take On Me (40th Anniversary Extended Version) [2025, by Jos Leene & Vinny Vero]

Описание: Released just yesterday as a "Record Store Day - Black Friday " vinyl only exclusive version (for now...) I want to share with you my own tranfer and remaster of this great surprise (there is another upload of this mix on youtube already but the sound is mono, not stereo). A proper classic 12" version of one of the greatest and most iconic 80's tunes, that never had the deserved 12" version until now! (yes, I know it had one but it was very basic extension...more details below...).
As Jos Leene himself say on his" backtothemultitrack" site:

"I created a first version that ran over eight minutes. In 10 years time I've made multiple versions and only last year, with valuable creative and productional input from Vinny Vero, we refined it into a polished 7:30 version.
When plans for an official release emerged, I rebuilt the mix using the original stems from the Warner archives. Turning it into the official 40th Anniversary Extended Version.
A-ha's engineer and the three band members approved the mix ​with a sweet message through Magne saying they like how faithful the mix is to the original. And how, back in the day, they just did not have time in their schedule for a proper Extended Version."
